This README explains how to install the SKFPHDM.DDM driver.

- Novell's I2O support package dated August 1998 or later.

(3) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
=============================

Step 1:	If I2O support is not built into your OS, get a support package from
	your OS vendor, if available.  Install it following its installation
	instructions.

Step 2:	Download the HDM following your system's instructions.

(4) CONFIGURATION INSTRUCTIONS
==============================

Step 1:	Start/Goto the web browser and locate the HDM's configuration page.

Step 2:	Change the desired settings.

	None.
    Problems fixed:
	- Multiple packets per tx not implemented.
    Known limitations:
	- Only tested with Novell's FDDIOSM.
	- Receive routine copies all data from I2O to host memory, thus
	  decreasing throughput.
	- Supports only Simple Address, Page List, and
	  Immediate SG data elements, esp. for tx messages.
        - Getkey and deletion of Multicast Addresses are not tested.
	- Buckets must be big enough to hold a complete frame.
        - Batching not supported.
	- Does not support LanSduSend.
